This course is designed to allow you to work as a rail labour in the rail corridor Danger Zone conducting track work / rail labourer tasks and activities under the supervision of a Worksite Supervisor / Track Maintainer.The Rail Industry Worker National Track and Civil Matrix has designated that rail labourers need to hold these units to undertake a Rail Labourer Job Role in the Rail Corridor.

In alignment with industry consultation and the job role expectations, the following is needed for course admission:- A valid Category 3 or 1 Rail Medical assessment
- CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
- TLIF0020 Safely Access the Rail Corridor
