The ARTC Safeworking Recertifications workshop provides a streamlined yet thorough refresher for individuals holding expired or soon-to-expire ARTC Safeworking qualifications. This course revalidates the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and effectively within the ARTC rail network.

Delivery Mode Section (Website)

  • Knowledge Assessment

  • Practical Assessment

  • Workplace Evidence Review:

    • Three (3) pieces of evidence showing that you have performed the required duties of the specific role. 

    • Evidence must be: 

      • With at least one (1) piece from within the past six (6) months 

      • From within the past two (2) years 

      • Refer to the ARTC SA & WA CoP Safeworking Evidence Matrix to ensure the evidence you submit meets the required duties and is relevant to your job role(s).

    • Please note: You will not be able to proceed with your recertification if the mandatory evidence is not provided. Failure to supply the required documentation may result in your booking being cancelled or rescheduled.

    • All mandatory evidence must be uploaded to our Learning Management System, aXcelerate prior to your course. 

  • Assessment Information Section (Website)

  • Reaffirm understanding of ARTC safeworking rules and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate current competency in safeworking procedures
  • Apply hazard identification and mitigation techniques in rail environments
  • Communicate effectively with Network Control and other safeworking personnel
  • Operate safely within the scope of their role under ARTC rules and procedures
