It includes performing pre-operational and post-operational checks, on tracking and off tracking vehicles, operating equipment, and completing required documentation. It encompasses the operation of all road/rail on-track vehicles.
Certification
Upon successful completion of all required assessments, students will be issued a:
Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment:
TLIC3045: Operate road rail vehicle
TLIC2054: Access rail track to run track vehicle within defined worksite
Entry Requirements
In alignment with industry consultation and the job role expectations outlined in the ARA National Plant Matrix, TIC Rail requires the following for course admission:
1. General and Medical Requirements
A valid Category 1 Rail Medical assessment, confirming fitness for work in a rail corridor
2. Statement of Attainment
