It extends upon the Level 1 role by authorising participants to oversee higher-risk worksites and coordinate more complex protection methods. The course focuses on ensuring safety through effective communication, risk management, and procedural compliance under the ARTC NSW Network Rules and Procedures.

  • A valid Category 1 Rail Medical assessment
  • CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
  • TLIF0020 Safely Access the Rail Corridor
  • TLIF0023 Conduct track protection assessment
  • TLIF0027 Perform lookout duties
  • TLIF2097 Use audible track warning devices
  • TLIL3082 Implement absolute signal blocking
